About This Tour
The grand Silk Road journey across two of Central Asia's most fascinating countries. Nomadic traditions of Kyrgyzstan — yurt camps, eagle hunters, mountain passes — then the legendary Islamic monuments of Samarkand, Bukhara, and the Fergana Valley. Ideal for operators who already run Uzbekistan programs and want to add an authentic Kyrgyzstan extension.
Note: Kyrgyzstan portion (Days 1–7) operated by us. Uzbekistan (Days 8–12) by partner operator.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival. Evening city walk: Ala-Too Square.
Bishkek — 4★Bishkek city tour: History Museum, Osh Bazaar. Drive to Chon-Kemin valley (3 hrs). Mountain guesthouse.
Chon-Kemin — GuesthouseDrive to Song-Kul Lake (5 hrs via Kochkor, Dolon Pass 3,030 m). Yurt camp. Kumiss tasting, sunset.
Song-Kul — Yurt CampMorning horse ride (1.5 hrs). Drive south to Bokonbaevo (5 hrs). Eagle hunter demonstration. Skazka Canyon walk (2 km).
Issyk-Kul South — HotelDrive to Karakol. Dungan Mosque, Jety-Oguz Canyon. Alternatively fly Bishkek → Osh.
Karakol — 3★Arrive Osh. Sulaiman-Too UNESCO mountain. Osh Bazaar. Kurmanjan Datka Museum.
Osh — 3★Optional Arslanbob walnut forest morning. Afternoon: cross to Andijan — handover to Uzbekistan partner operator.
Fergana — UZB partner hotelSilk ikat workshop, ceramics master, traditional bazaar. Drive to Samarkand.
SamarkandRegistan Square (three madrassahs), Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, Bibi-Khanym Mosque, Ulugbek Observatory.
SamarkandDrive to Bukhara (3 hrs). Ark Fortress (6th century), Kalon Minaret, Lyab-i-Hauz plaza.
BukharaOld city walk, craft bazaars, traditional hammam. Evening train to Tashkent.
TashkentBroadway, Chorsu Bazaar. Transfer to Tashkent International Airport.
