Our Story
Built on the ground,
not behind a desk.
Ascend Tours was founded in 2015 by a team who fell in love with Kyrgyzstan and saw a gap: travellers wanted to discover Central Asia's last great nomadic culture, but most of the operators serving them treated it as a logistics exercise rather than an experience.
We built Ascend Tours from the ground up — every hotel relationship, guide network, and yurt camp. Today we run five carefully crafted itineraries from 3 to 12 days, taking small groups deep into the country: yurts at 3,000m, horse rides across alpine pastures, meals with herder families, and the cities and canyons in between.
Our edge: we're a local team that's operationally rigorous in a market where most competitors still work by fax. We reply in 4 hours, deliver clean documentation, and never drop the ball on the ground.
